Put into bat, Indian openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul starred with the bat against as both slammed fifties and added 140 runs for the first wicket. Sharma and Rahul played innings of 74 and 66, respectively before Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya continued the momentum and added 50 runs partnership propelling the team’s total to over 200.
