Any of you do your overhead press and then when you can't do anymore switch to push press to go beyond failure. Or even stop, increase the weight and do a set of push press. Opinions?

I've never seriously done push presses at all, but it might be an idea to really squeeze everything out of the movement pattern. I'd be a little concerned about total form breakdown if already have gotten to the point where you can't just OHP normally, but this is a lagging lift for me so others may disagree and know better.

Always coached my football kids to do as many strict as they could followed by three more cheats with negatives.

If I can’t do strict I don’t do anymore. That just means I’m moving weight from point A to point B which runs counterintuitive to my goal of maximal muscle tension.
Just did 75 for 9 the other day on my top set.Age: 29
