    Share price of Colgate-Palmolive falls as Sensex gains 203.05 points

    Nifty continues to climb a wall of worry as it looks to be in the final leg of its rally before heading for a correction.
    The share price of (India) Ltd. dropped 0.23 per cent to Rs 1523.15 at 11:42AM (IST) in Wednesday's trade. The stock has hit a high of Rs 1536.0 and low of Rs 1521.05 so far during the session. The stock had closed at Rs 1526.7 in the previous session.

    The counter has had a total traded volume of 5451 shares so far with a value of Rs 0.83 crore on the NSE. It traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 38.84 and a price-to-book ratio of 36.38.

    A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price for per rupee earnings given by the stock because of better future growth expectations.

    The price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and reflects the price investors are willing to pay even for no growth in the business.

    The scrip gained 2.3 per cent during the past one year, while the 30-share index advanced 48.38 per cent during the same period.

    Profit for the latest quarter stood at Rs 269.17 crore, down 1.83 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
