THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Five students and one man sustained injuries after a KSRTC bus hit the concrete top of a waiting shed forcing the roof to crumble.
The accident occurred at Cherumanchal bus stop.

The police said that the KSRTC driver was negotiating the curve when a portion of the bus scraped against the top of the concrete roofed bus shed.
Under the impact of the hit, the roof gave away and the block fell over the students who were waiting at the bus stop.
Children were taken to Medical college hospital.
The elderly man is suspected to have sustained a fracture.
Jose NR, Aryanadu SHO, said that all the injuries are mild and that bus shed would have collapsed due to lack of stability. "
It is fortunate that a major tragedy was averted. At present everybody is being taken to hospital," said Jose NR.
