Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Bharti Airtel(Rs. 936.62 crore), L&T(Rs. 773.96 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 568.58 crore), SBI(Rs. 535.69 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 505.18 crore), Trent(Rs. 436.25 crore), IRCTC(Rs. 435.63 crore), Oberoi Realty(Rs. 426.38 crore), HDFC(Rs. 405.14 crore) and Tata Steel(Rs. 361.17 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:21AM in Wednesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 85.15 points up at 17974.1, while BSE Sensex was up 264.87 points at 60293.93 as of 11:21AM(IST)on November 03.

In the Nifty index, Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 4.69 per cent), UPL Ltd.(up 4.32 per cent), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.(up 2.60 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 2.20 per cent) and Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.05 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 2.01 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.96 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 0.89 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(down 0.67 per cent) and Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 0.62 per cent) were among the top losers.
