Maha Govt sets target of Nov 30 for total vaccination

Mumbai, Nov 3 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday issued a directive to all district collectorates to ensure 100 per vaccination in the state by Nov 30.
Before attending the video conference meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Thackeray took a review meeting, in which he has directed all district collectorates to make sure that 100 per cent vaccination should be done by Nov 30, an official release said here.
The Chief Minister stressed on creating awareness among the masses about the threat of Covid and compulsory vaccination for their safety.
"Now we have opened cinema halls, theatres, malls and other public palces, so we should be remain always safe by doing vaccinations," he reiterated.
State chief secretary Sitaram Kunte spoke about the launch of a special drive after Diwali festival to speed up vaccination, it added.
