Covid-19: M'rashtra reports 1,193 new cases, 39 deaths

Aurangabad / Mumbai, Nov 3 (UNI) Maharashtra on Wednesday reported 1,193 fresh Covid-19 patients and 39 fatalities in a single day, taking the state's cumulative case tally to 66,14,158 and the toll to 1,40,313, respectively, a health bulletin of the state government said.
On the other hand, 1,519 patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 64,55,100.
The state's recovery rate further improved to 97.60 per cent, while the fatality rate was steady at 2.12 per cent.
There are now 15,119 active cases in the state, added the bulletin.
