Jake Paul-Tommy Fury trash talk begins with their girlfriends

Jake Paul and Tommy Fury’s girlfriends are getting in on the trash talk ahead of their boyfriends’ December bout.

On Friday, the YouTuber’s partner Julia Rose replied to a tweet by Fury’s girlfriend, Molly-Mae Hague, who promoted a flyer for the fight.

“Time to get this job done baby,” Hague tweeted, to which Rose responded, “Alright… let’s make a bet then.”

Paul quickly chimed in, tweeted, “she wonntttttt.”

Fury, the half brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, is undefeated in his pro boxing career (7-0).

Hague has yet to answer Rose’s bet proposal.

The Filter by Molly-Mae founder (a brand of luxury tanning products) appeared on of the British revival of the television series “Love Island,” where she met fellow contestant, Fury. The couple was crowned runner-up in season 5.

The British star made his U.S. fight debut in August, on the undercard of Paul’s split-decision win over Tyron Woodley. Fury beat Canadian MMA pro Anthony Taylor (0–1) by unanimous decision.

Fury and Paul are familiar with trading insults on social media and in interviews. The pair also secured a wager of their own ahead of their fight.

In September, Fury joked that he should change his name if he lost to Paul.

In October, Paul told ESPN that the two had struck a deal.

“I offered Fury to change his name to Tommy Fumbles or put up $500,000 of his purse if he loses,” Paul said.

“He chose to agree to change his name. Guess he puts more value on money then he does his own family name. Maybe he knows his family is disowning him once he loses, so money and Molly [Mae-Hague] is all he’s going to have left.”

Fury and Paul will meet in the octagon on Dec. 18 in a Showtime pay-per-view event in Tampa.
