A cruel thug has been filmed pulling a dog up by the ears as it yelped in pain, before the pup was rescued by an unexpected hero - a cow.
Footage, believed to have been captured in India, shows the man repeatedly pulling the dog up to his chest by its ears as the canine whined and tried to pull away.
But in an unexpected twist, a cow came to the rescue by charging at the man and trampling him - allowing the dog to escape its torture.
The video was shared on Twitter by Indian Forest Service Officer Susanta Nanda, who simply said: 'Karma'.

Footage shows the man, who has not been identified, pulling the dog up on its hind legs by its ears as the dog tries to escape.
The man eventually loses some of his grip of the dog, which falls to the ground, before trying to pull the pup up again.
But at this moment, a white cow with horns charges at the pair and pushes the dog out of the way.
Before the man can react, the cow begins attacking the man who falls to the ground and gets trampled by the animal. The video then cuts off.

Social media users slammed the man for tormenting the dog, but also the person who filmed the footage without trying to help the pup.
One said: 'I like this version. Instant Karma. Quick. Reciprocal. Painful.'
'That cow is better than that person taking pic,' another user said.
One said: 'An animal understood another animal pain.. when people standing around can't do anything...'
