There are some mysteries in life that can never be answered. But when it comes to pizza, we want to know every bit of it. To specify that, one day or the other every one must have thought about why the small, white three-legged plastic table is kept in the middle of the pizza?
The tiny plastic table, known as a ‘pizza saver’ or ‘pizza stool’ is kept at the centre of the pizza in order to prevent the ingredients and toppings of the pizza from touching the cardboard box.
Recently in a funny viral video, an Instagram user Shazab Farooqui has explained the ironic use and amazing purpose of the pizza table which can also be considered as a life hack.
Farooqui in a video posted on a photo-sharing app where he starts to show how this tiny piece can also be used as a pizza cutter. The user picks up the pizza table and puts it in the middle of one of the pieces and his friend grabs the slice cutting the piece in half.
The text in a video read, “I was today years old when I learned what this was.” He posted this video along with the caption, “Who would’ve thought that this was pizza cutter.”
Ever since the video is shared, it has garnered over 2 crore views and around 175k likes. His unique invention also made his comment box flooded with different types of comments. Some were impressed with his technique while others were restricted only to its conventional use.
“No it’s a table for my dolls,” said one of the users while the other commented, “It’s the pizza conference table to decide who will get eaten first.” One of the users wrote that he thought this piece is used as a toothpick while another commented that it is used to prevent the toppings and cheese from sticking to the pizza box.
A few of them were also mesmerised by the pizza and wanted to know where has he ordered the pizza from. Well, pizza saver is now converted into a pizza cutter! We must praise him for coming up with this unique invention. This is definitely considered a lifehack and a great way to prevent the pizza slices from finishing too fast!
