According to a statement of MDA, one FCI truck met with an accident on October 20 at Oak farm area near Tupul and another cement loaded truck met similar accident on October 31 eve-ning near Oakfarm.
Both the accidents occurred due to absence of road barrier, road barricade and reflector (indicator), the MDA said and blamed NHIDCL for causing artificial road accident at Oakfarm area.
Urging NHIDCL to take up road safety measures in the area at the earliest, MDA cautioned that it might arrive at the stage of taking up legal action against NHID-CL if necessary road safety steps are not put in place at Oakfarm and nearby area where earth and boulders are being piled up due to the road widening work.
