Telangana chief electoral office has banned victory processions after counting on Tuesday. CEO Shashank Goel issued orders stating that only two persons will be allowed along with the winning candidate to collect the certificate from the returning officer.

Congress’ young face Balmoor Venkat is projected by exit polls to be an also-ran, with the grand old party likely to lose its vote share massively.
