Over 106 crore 88 lakh COVID vaccine doses administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive; Recovery rate stands at 98.21 pct

Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya has said that India has administered the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine to 78 per cent of the eligible population and the second dose to 35 per cent of the eligible population of the country. In a tweet, Dr Mandaviya termed it an extraordinary feat of an extraordinary nation. He congratulated all saying that we rapidly progress on our path to defeat the virus.

Over 106 crore 88 lakh COVID vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive. A total of 10 thousand 423 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours which is the lowest in 259 days. The recovery rate is currently at 98.21 per cent.

Over 15 thousand recoveries in the last 24 hours have taken total recoveries to three crore 36 lakh 83 thousand 581. Active cases account for less than one per cent of total cases.

Over 61 crore total tests have been conducted so far.
