AgenciesNEW DELHI: Tata Motors(Rs. 2549.69 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 2112.32 crore), Sun Pharma(Rs. 1427.02 crore), SBI(Rs. 1391.42 crore), HDFC(Rs. 1259.66 crore), RIL(Rs. 1224.33 crore), TCS(Rs. 1077.75 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 1065.68 crore), Maruti Suzuki(Rs. 1019.90 crore) and RBL Bank(Rs. 1000.34 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 40.7 points down at 17888.95, while BSE Sensex fell 109.4 points to 60029.06.
In the Nifty index, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 2.31 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(up 1.98 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(up 1.75 per cent), State Bank of India(up 1.16 per cent) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 1.13 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Tata Steel Ltd.(down 3.75 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 2.51 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 2.34 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.07 per cent) and Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 2.04 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
