Bharat Forge shares drop 1.25% as Sensex falls

Shares of the Ltd. traded at Rs 781.25 on BSE at 01:16PM (IST) on Tuesday, down 1.25 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 445.1 and a high of Rs 846.6.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap down opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 300.31 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 2.6 per share and 5.13 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 11,721 shares changed hands on the counter till 01:16PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 36346.18 crore and is part of the Auto Ancl - Others industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 73.07 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 48.02 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 791.7 and Rs 779.8.

Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 44.76 per cent in the company as of 30-Sep-2021. FII and MF ownership in Bharat Forge Ltd. stood at 25.1 per cent and 12.21 per cent, respectively.
