Punjab & Sind Bank has reported net profit at Rs 218.28 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2021 as compared to net loss of Rs 401.27 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank marginally decreased by 1.50% at Rs 1945.12 crore for Q2FY22 as compared Rs 1974.78 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
The Bank’s gross NPA for the July- September quarter of the current fiscal increased to 14.54%, as compared to 14.06% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 3.81% in Q2FY22.
