    Jubilant Food shares gain 0.2% as Sensex rises

    Synopsis

    The stock quoted a 52-week high of Rs 4577.45 and a 52-week low of Rs 2099.6.

    Shares of Jubilant Foodworks Ltd. traded 0.2 per cent higher in Tuesday's session at 11:22AM (IST). The stock opened at Rs 3785.0 and has touched an intraday high and low of Rs 3792.5 and Rs 3731.7, respectively, during the session so far.

    The stock quoted a 52-week high of Rs 4577.45 and a 52-week low of 2099.6. About 5,977 shares changed hands on the counter so far.

    Benchmark Nifty50 was up 9.25 points at 17938.90, while the BSE Sensex traded 17.41 points higher at 60155.87 at the time of writing of this report.

    In the Nifty pack, 26 stocks traded the day in the green, while 23 were in the red.


    Key Financials
    For the quarter ended 30-Sep-2021, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 1125.64 crore, up 24.88 per cent from the previous quarter's Rs 901.35 crore and up 32.79 per cent from the year-ago quarter. The company reported net profit of Rs 120.24 crore for the latest quarter.

    Promoter Holdings
    Promoters held 41.94 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Sep-2021, while FIIs held 41.41 per cent and MFs 9.41 per cent.

    Technicals
    On the technical charts, the 200-Day Moving Average (DMA) of the stock stood at Rs 3303.23 on November 02, while the 50-DMA was at Rs 4013.67. If a stock trades above 50-DMA and 200-DMA, it usually means the immediate trend is upward. On the other hand, if the stock trades well below 50-DMA and 200-DMA both, it is considered as bearish trend and if trades between these averages, then it suggests the stock can go either way.
