There’s still a chance for snow before noon on Tuesday in Denver, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. Much like Monday, there will only be a slight variance between low and high temperatures as the Mile High City will only warm up to 40 degrees. There’s a 60% chance of precipitation with little or no snow accumulation expected; instead, there could be rain. Showers are likely between 2 p.m. and midnight, as temperatures fall back down to 34 degrees.
Widespread snow, bringing hazardous travel conditions, will persist in the mountains on Tuesday as storm totals could reach 12 inches of snow accumulation. The weak system will move out of Colorado by daybreak Wednesday.
Wednesday will be a transitional day as we begin a warming trend. It should be partly sunny with a high of 55 degrees and a low of 32 degrees.
Thursday will warm to 64 degrees under the sun.
Friday, this weekend and into next week could experience 70-degree highs or close to it.
