The Apple Watch is the king of the smartwatch market, but that quality comes at a price. The good news is that the introduction of the Apple Watch Series 7 is pushing the price down on older models, meaning it's easier than ever to bag a bargain on an older Series 6, 5 or even 4, along with the Apple Watch SE and Apple Watch Series 3.
If you know where to look, there are some fantastic deals to be had from retailers such as Amazon, John Lewis and Currys PC World in the UK, and Amazon and Best Buy in the US. Apple's own Refurb Store offers incredible savings too, and while these are all technically second-hand, Apple's high refurb standard means you'll likely be unable to tell.
In this article, we share the best Apple Watch deals, discounts, and offers, covering the Series 7, Series 6 and SE as well as older models including the Series 4 and 5, which have been discontinued by Apple, though it still sells the older Series 3.
You may still be able to find the Series 1 and Series 2 online and in high-street stores, and both are capable smartwatches in their own right - but because their components are older they won't offer much future-proofing. Remember they only work with an iPhone, too: no Androids here, we're afraid.

Retailers such as Currys PC World, Argos and John Lewis often have great discounts on the Apple Watch in the UK.

Should I wait for Black Friday for Apple Watch deals?
Black Friday arrives on Friday 26 November this year, followed by Cyber Monday on 29 November, which leads to the question: should you wait until then for a better deal?
Yes, and no. If you urgently want the Watch 6 ahead of Christmas and you see a stellar discount today, it's easy: pick it up. If you have the luxury of waiting until November however, it may pay off. There's no need to wait for 26 November itself, of course. In the past, the biggest and best Black Friday deals were typically reserved for the big day, but now Black Friday deals appear all through November and sometimes, as early as October.
If you see dramatic Black Friday iPad discounts before 26 November, just go for it! Especially now with various supply chain issues that retailers are experiencing, buying early might help you avoid low availability over Christmas.
Some retailers that hold pre-Black Fridays sales also promise that prices won't go any lower on Black Friday itself and offer to refund customers back the difference if it does, so if you can get a good discount now, we'd advise taking the dive.

How much should the Apple Watch cost?
The price of the Apple Watch is actually quite complicated because Apple sells so many different variants. Depending on which Apple Watch you choose, whether you choose a 40mm or 44mm version, and which strap you pick, the price can differ considerably.
The Apple Watch 3 is the cheapest at £199/$199 for the 38mm version and £229/$229 for the 42mm version. Neither include cellular.
The Apple Watch SE starts at £269/$279 for the 40mm version without cellular, and £299/$309 for the 44mm version.
The Apple Watch 7 starts at £369/$399 for the 40mm version without cellular, while pricing for the 44mm version is yet to be confirmed.
