    Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

    Kriti Ind, MPS Infotecnics, Precision Wires, RSWM Ltd and LG Balakrishnan, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

    Retail and banking stocks rose 0.5 per cent and 0.7 per cent, respectively.
    NEW DELHI: Shares of Kriti Ind, MPS Infotecnics, Precision Wires, RSWM Ltd and LG Balakrishnan, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

    Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 258.0 points up at 17929.65 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

    However, stocks such as Asian Hotels(W), Jiya Eco Products Lt, Ramco Systems, Intnl Conveyors and Nandani Creation, touched their fresh 52-week lows.

    Overall, 46 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 4 closed in the red.

    In the Nifty 50 index, IndusInd Bank, Hindalco, HCL Tech, Bharti Airtel and Grasim Inds. were among top gainers during the day, while UPL, M&M, Bajaj Finserv, Nestle India and RIL ended in the red.

    The BSE Sensex closed 831.53 points up at 60138.46.

    Traders piled up positions in Metals - Ferrous, Real Estate, Textiles, Apparels and Mining sectors, while selling was witnessed in Miscellaneous, Tourism & Hospitality, Learning & Education, Services and Rubber sectors during the day.
