Russian telcos complain over Rostelecom inclusion on mandatory video apps list

Monday 1 November 2021 | 14:48 CET | News
Russian federal competition watchdog FAS has started an investigation into the pre-installation of video services of Russian origin onto smart TV and other devices shipped to the country, reports Kommersant. The investigation was initiated by a complaint from operators MTS, Megafon, Beeline and ER-Telecom. They disagree with the fact that the Wink service from Rostelecom is the only local service included on the list of permitted services.
