Examination for constables: Surjewala dares Haryana CM, cabinet to attempt questions

CHANDIGARH: A day after the first round of written examination for the post of Constable of Haryana police, the AICC general secretary and former Haryana minister Randeep Singh Surjewala dared the chief Manohar Lal Khattar and his cabinet to secure atleast 20% of the papers.
Notably, eight set of question papers were given to candidates and the quality of questions therein which, according to Surjewala and candidates were certainly not according to the stature of the candidates for the post of constables.
Surjewala demanded immediate disbanding of Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) as this time too these examinations were targeted to benefit a particular group. "On the outset, the question paper appeared to be meant for researchers in english science or of the officers level but certainly not of constable level. It is an open challenge to Khattar Sahab and his cabinet to solve at least 20% of the questions," said Surjewala.
The HSSC was supposed to ask questions related to Haryana whereas there were just two out 95 questions. Similarly, the quality of questions were total in contravention to the declaration of Commission while referring to syllabus of paper, added Surjewala.
The Khattar government and HSSC(Haryana Staff Selection Commission) have once again made a mockery of the competence, ability and potential of the Haryana youth. The HSSC, consisting of the toadies of the BJP, have completely doomed the future of the youth of Haryana by completely destroying the entire examination system, the manner of preparing the paper and the method of taking the exam. They stand fully exposed before the people, he added further.
In a bid to support his argument, Surjewala elaborated upon then issue raised by him during the sub inspector recruitment.
"Recently, when we exposed malpractices in the examination held for 450 posts of Police Sub-Inspector (Male) at three examination centres, then, instead of canceling the exam, about 550 candidates from those three centers were asked to reappear in the examination. Surprisingly, out of these 550 candidates, 43 were selected as sub-inspectors. The reasons for all this are quite obvious," he said..
"Recruitment of 5,500 Police Constables (Male), for which 8,39,000 youths have applied and for which examinations are being held in morning and evening shifts for three consecutive days i.e. on 31 October, 01 November and 2 November 2021. The conspiracy is that the questions asked in the recruitment are tougher than the IAS and IPS recruitment, so that the ordinary youth fail the examination and recruitments can be made through "setting(dot)com" by filling the blank OMR sheets afterwards.
Referring to Sunday’s question paper he said that If you look at the eight papers (A2 to A9) held on 31st October, then you will find that out of 95 questions, only one or two questions are related to Haryana, therefore the question arise as to whether police constable recruitment is being made for WTO or any other foreign country.
