
NEET Result 2021 live updates: After three days of agonising wait, the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Monday finally announced the NEET-UG 2021 exam result. The scores of the NEET-UG 2021 exam were first communicated via mail to the NEET aspirants around 6 pm on Monday. After some time, the official announcement was made at around 8:30pm. The NEET-UG 2021 exam result is available at neet.nta.nic.in. After Covid-induced delay, the NEET-UG exam was conducted on September 12. Around 17 lakh students had appeared for the NEET-UG 2021 exam.
Mrinal Kutteri from Hyderabad has secured the AIR-1. The NEET-UG topper says that the coronavirus lockdown helped him to save on the travel time. He said that just before the exam, he had reduced interaction with friends to focus on his last-minute preparations.
The Supreme Court of India permitted the agency to announce the results last week, by staying an order by the Bombay High Court order that directed the NTA to hold re-exam, for two candidates whose question papers and OMR sheets had got mixed up at a centre in Maharashtra. The top court, in the reply, said that results of over 16 lakh students cannot be put on hold for two candidates.
Once the NEET UG 2021 result is out, the national and state-level counselling authorities will conduct counselling for the same.
