Sunrise host David 'Kochie' Koch says it was 'love at first sight' meeting his seventh grandchild
Sunrise host David 'Kochie' Koch welcomed his seventh grandchild over the weekend.
And on Monday, he was able to meet little Florence May Brown for the first time.
The 65-year-old shared several photos to Instagram of himself doting on his granddaughter, who looked snug wrapped up in her blanket.

'When Poppy met Florrie,' he wrote in the caption, adding the hashtag #loveatfirstsight.
Earlier in the day, Kochie shared the news of his grandchild's birth on Sunrise, telling viewers: 'A quick shout-out to my eldest daughter Sam who gave birth over the weekend to little Florence.'

'I'm going visiting today, there's strict Covid rules, only one person per visiting, so I get my turn today,' he added.
He had previously announced Florence's arrival in a Facebook post on Sunday.

Kochie congratulated his daughter Sam, son-in-law Toby, and their children on the new addition.
'You're a very lucky girl having incredible parents in Sam and Toby and such loving big sisters and brother… Matilda, Lila and Oscar,' he added.

David and his wife, Libby, were joined at Sydney Airport by their children and grandchildren as they greeted Brianna and her kids, Jax, Teddy and baby Ella.
Kochie wrote at the time: 'When Poppy met Ella. Eight months ago, Ella was born in Perth.'

'Last night she came home for Christmas with Brie, Jax and Teddy,' he said, adding that his son-in-law CJ would be joining the rest of the family in the coming days.
'And just like the movie it was love at first sight,' he concluded.
David and Libby married in 1979. Together they share four adult children.
'It was definitely love at first sight. Lib was a 20-year-old nurse. Our friend Judy decided to have a party, and that's where we met back in 1977,' he told New Idea in June.
