Floward, the go-to online flowers and gifts delivery destination in MENA and UK recently launched its Pink October campaign aimed at raising awareness for early detection in collaboration with the Qatar Cancer Society (QCS).
The campaign includes launching an exclusive Pink October collection where Floward will donate a percentage of its sales to the QCS, in addition to distributing gifts and leaflets at several workshops for raising awareness about early detection and prevention of breast cancer. Additionally, it collaborated with QCS to conduct an Afternoon Tea session to raise awareness about breast cancer for Qatari Businesswomen Association at the Diplomatic Club.
Floward also sponsored multiple activities such as a ladies night held by Qatar Foundation to support the cause and distribute more than 1000 pink flowers to visitors; and the event Pink Run organized by girls running group, Run the World.
Other activities included sponsoring the annual Pink Ride event held by QCS at Lusail and collaborating with several beauty salons to distribute pink flowers and leaflets to their clients.
Floward CEO, Abdulaziz B. Al Loughani said: “At Floward we always work to offer our support to causes that matter to our communities and health is at the core of these causes. Whenever we launch a campaign we make sure to collaborate with entities who are specialist in the matter and offer our support in any way possible. That’s why we collaborate with QCS, the leading cancer charity in Qatar to help them raise awareness about early detection. We’d like to thank them for all the work they do and for giving us the opportunity to support such an important cause.”
