Former MP Pundalik Danve dies at 90

Jalna, Nov 1 (UNI) Former MP Pundalik Danve died in a hospital here on Monday after a brief illness.
He was 90, and is survived by two sons and a daughter.
Danve was not well since last one month .
His last rites will be performed at Pimplagaon Sutar village in Bhokardan taluka of the district on Tuesday, sources said.
On hearing the sad news of Danve's death, Deputy Minister for Public Health and District Guardian Minister Rajesh Tope said, "With the demise of former MP Pundalik Danve, we have lost an ideal politician, a senior leader who led the common man and with his departure, a great era has come to an end."
"Danve was a freedom fighter during the freedom struggle. He was very eloquent, punctual and humorous. His oratory skills were admirable," he said and added that his family get the strength to bear this grief.
