    Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

    Synopsis

    Kriti Ind, Transport Corp, Minda Corp., Precision Wires and LG Balakrishnan, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:24AM.

    Retail and banking stocks rose 0.5 per cent and 0.7 per cent, respectively.
    NEW DELHI: Shares of Kriti Ind, Transport Corp, Minda Corp., Precision Wires and LG Balakrishnan, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:24AM(IST)on NSE.

    Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 76.45 points to 17748.1 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

    However, stocks such as Asian Hotels(W), Jiya Eco Products Lt, Intnl Conveyors, Vikas Proppant & Gr and Sagardeep Alloys, touched their fresh 52-week low.

    Overall, 37 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 12 traded in the red.

    In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Steel, IndusInd Bank, Bharti Airtel, Hindalco and Dr. Reddys were among top gainers, while UPL, Bajaj Finserv, RIL, Tata Motors and Nestle India traded in the red.

    The BSE Sensex was trading 234.83 points up at 59541.76 at 10:24AM(IST).

    Traders were seen piling up positions in Metals - Ferrous, Real Estate, Glass, Textiles and Logistics sectors, while selling was visible in Miscellaneous, Tourism & Hospitality, Learning & Education, Services and Sugar sectors.
