Bajaj Auto sales drop 14% yoy to 4,39,615 units in Oct 2021

In total, domestic sales stood at 2,18,565 units declining by 22% yoy in October 2021, while exports were at 2,21,050 units down 4% yoy.

Bajaj Auto registered a total sales of 4,39,615  units in October 2021, declining by 14% from 5,12,038  units in the same month a year ago. Sales were dragged by a drop in the two-wheelers segment, however, commercial vehicles demand improved further.

In total, domestic sales stood at 2,18,565 units declining by 22% yoy in October 2021, while exports were at 2,21,050  units down 4% yoy.

2-wheelers sales stood at 3,91,303 units in the month under review, contracting by 17% yoy. On the contrary, commercial vehicles sales rose by 16% yoy in October this year to 48,312 units.

Between April - October 2021, the company's total sales stood at 25,90,036 units rising by 29% from 20,08,478  units sold in the corresponding period last year.

On Sensex, Bajaj Auto finished at Rs3726.20 per piece up Rs16 or 0.4%. The stock has touched an intraday high and low of Rs3748 per piece and Rs3684.25 per piece.
