Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's 23-year-old son Aryan Khan walked out of jail on October 30th after spending over three weeks in prison. He is back to his home 'Mannat' now and trying to attain normalcy in life. However, despite getting bail on October 28th from the Bombay High Court, he walked out of jail two days after the order was passed as the paperwork could not be completed on time. Now, while revealing the reason behind the delay, senior advocate Aslam Merchant informed ETimes that due to 'interruption in electricity supply' in the court, Aryan's bail memo could not get ready on time. He said, 'Paperwork was delayed at Sessions Court, and when the Release Memo was being typed the electricity of the entire Court was tripped for almost 25 to 35 vital minutes.' Owing to this interruption, Aryan Khan’s release order could not be posted in the bail box kept outside Arthur Road jail and missed the 5:30 pm deadline, making Aryan spend another night in prison. Earlier, soon after Aryan got released on bail by the HC, his legal team shared a statement saying, 'No possession, No evidence, No consumption, No conspiracy, right from the first moment when he was detained on 2nd Oct 2021...nor is there anything as of now. We are grateful to Almighty that our prayers were accepted by Mr. Justice Nitin Sambre and granted bail to Aryan.' Notably, Aryan Khan got released on a bond of Rs 1 lakh, and Shah Rukh's good friend and actress Juhi Chawla came forward to sign the bail surety for him. The court has also asked Aryan Khan to submit his passport before the Special Court and told him that he cannot leave the country without prior permission from the Special Judge for NDPS at Greater Mumbai. Aryan Khan got arrested on October 3rd by the Narcotics Control Bureau after the officials conducted a raid on a cruise ship and seized banned substances.
