Imphal, October 30 2021: BJP Lilong Mandal has launched door to door Thambal campaign in Lilong assembly constituency from Saturday.

Mandal president Ahmad Ali, BJP Manipur Pradesh general secretary Premananda, Minority Morcha president Askar Ali and intending candidate Md Anwar Hussain attended the launch programme which began from the house of retired chief engineer Alhaj Ajijur Rahman.

In their addresses, Premananda called upon the people of Lilong AC to support the party's candidate while Askar Ali appealed for public participation in the campaign and Ahmad Ali asserted that Lilong will see real taste of development when the elected representativeis a genuine local resident.

intending candidate Md Anwar said that Lilong AC faced setback for five years as many saw BJP as a sectarian party.

He appealed to all not to spread false propaganda and to report to the authority if anybody is found spreading rumours.
