Afghanistan wins toss, elects to bat against Namibia
ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates (AP) - Afghanistan won the toss and elected to bat against Namibia in their T20 World Cup match on Sunday with Asghar Afghan playing his last international match.
Both teams have beaten Scotland in their opening Group B games before Afghanistan lost to Pakistan when Asif Ali smashed four sixes in the penultimate over.
Afghanistan had to make one forced change when its in-form spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman was declared unfit and was replaced by fast bowler Hamid Hassan.
Sunday´s game will be the last for 33-year-old former captain Asghar, who has announced his retirement from all forms of the game.
Namibia retained the same playing XI that beat Scotland in the first match when fast bowler Ruben Trumpelmann took three wickets off his first four balls.
