Three test +ve in Ludhiana district

Ludhiana, October 30

Three persons tested positive for Covid and no death due to the disease was reported in the district today. The recovery rate of Covid-19 patients has reached 97.57 per cent and there are 22 active cases in the district at present. Twenty patients were asked to undergo home isolation today.

A total of six patients — two from Ludhiana and four from other districts —are undergoing treatment for Covid at various city hospitals.

Till date, a total of 27,15,026 samples for Covid test have been taken, of which 26,15,715 were found negative. Now, the total number of patients belonging to Ludhiana is 87,608, while 11,703 patients belong to other districts/states.

The total number of patients who lost their lives to the disease is 2,106 from Ludhiana and 1,053 from other districts.

Samples of 7,095 suspected patients were sent for testing today and their results are expected shortly.
