Yuva Sena has called for a statewide agitation against the rising fuel prices.
KALYAN: The Yuva Sena workers on Sunday held a bicycle rally in Thane district's Dombivli to protest against rising petrol, diesel, and cooking gas prices.
As fuel prices continue to rise, petrol now costs over Rs 115 and diesel Rs 106.
The Yuva Sena workers said that rising fuel prices are also affecting essentials like food grains, oils, and vegetables.
During the rally, which started from the Shiv Sena’s central office in Dombivli East and ended at Ganpati mandir, the party workers also raised slogans against the Central government.
Yuva Sena has called for a statewide agitation against the rising fuel prices. Several workers participated in the protest under the leadership of Yuva Sena district president Dipesh Mahatre and Shiv Sena’s Dombivli city president Rajesh More.
Some workers were also dressed as Ravana and Yamraj.

"With petrol price touching Rs 115 per litre, people are facing a lot of problems. Especially students and office-going people," said Mahatre, adding that the bicycle rally was organised under the observation of Aditya Thackeray.
