Horrific moment two men bash an Uber driver with a baseball bat in the middle of a busy street during brutal road rage attack

Two men have been jailed for bashing an Uber driver with a baseball bat during an horrific road rage attack.
Alan Rizgar Jelil and Admir Udovcic, both 24, pleaded guilty to aggravated intentionally causing harm over the violent bashing near an Adelaide shopping centre in 2019.
During sentencing on Friday, Judge Joana Fuller described the pair's offending as 'inexplicable and extremely disturbing', reported The Advertiser.

Disturbing footage shown to the court shows the men surround the victim as one holds him in a headlock.
The attackers are seen returning to their vehicle and driving off as the victim lies helplessly on the footpath by the side of the road.
The shocking attack occurred while the victim stopped near Churchill Road shopping complex to take a lunch break from Uber driving.
A car driven by Mr Udovcic pulled up beside the vehicle with Mr Jelil informing the other driver he had a flat tyre.
When the Uber driver exited his vehicle to check, he found all four of his tyres were fully inflated.

'He said something along the lines of "don't joke with me, don't kid around",' Judge Fuller said.
Mr Jelil then got out of the car and punched the Uber driver twice in the head as he desperately tried to make his way back inside his vehicle.
A third man was also reportedly travelling with the pair but has never been identified.

The victim managed to get back inside his car and drive a few feet forward in front of the men before Mr Jelil exited his vehicle to assault the man again.
He then returned to the car and the trio drove away.
The Uber driver followed the group as they pulled onto Churchill Road where he rammed into the back of their vehicle.
Judge Fuller said footage captured by security cameras, dashcam and bystanders showed the victim exit his car with his hands raised in 'surrender'.

But Mr Udovcic still placed the victim in a chokehold as Mr Jelil repeatedly punched his body before returning to the vehicle to retrieve a baseball bat.
'No one has suggested that any of the occupants of the car played baseball,' Judge Fuller said.
The fight came to an end when a bystander managed to wrestle the baseball bat from the men, with Udovcic aggressively throwing the victim onto the footpath before leaving.
He suffered a broken arm, concussion and numerous bruises and abrasions from the bashing.
Mr Jelil had a history of violence, breaching bail and being aggressive towards police and community corrections officers, Judge Fuller said.
She noted Udovcic had far less of a criminal history but was quick to participate in the violent attack with 'enthusiasm'.
'It was a cowardly, gratuitous and meaningless attack,' she said.
'It was random, sustained, with no provocation and in the full view of members of the public.'
Mr Jelil was jailed for four years, eight months and 29 days with a non-parole period of two-and-a-half years.
Mr Udovcic was sentenced to three years, nine months and 18 days with a non-parole period of two years.
The families of both men reportedly wept from the stands as the pair were taken into custody.
