
NEET Result 2021 Live Updates: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to announce the NEET-UG Results 2021 any moment now. This comes a day after the Supreme Court cleared the way for the NTA declaration on Thursday. Once the official announcement has been made, the NEET-UG 2021 results will be made available on nta.ac.in, neet.nta.nic.in. NEET aspirants should also know that the NTA can also cancel the result of a candidate. After the scorecard is uploaded on the official websites, the pattern is to kickstart the counselling. If we look at the numbers, across India, there are about 17 lakh students who are waiting for their NEET scores.

In case two students score the same marks or percentile, the NTA has a very simple rule. The candidate who scores more in Biology will get a better rank. Subsequently, the second preference would be given to the candidate scoring a higher score in Chemistry. The last chance will be based on the proportion between correct and incorrect answers.
In its official statement, the NTA has said that the NEET scores 'may be utilized by other Entities of Central/State Governments, in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria / other norms /applicable regulations/guidelines/ rules'
Unlike the school results, there are no unofficial websites that can host the NEET-UG results. So, aspirants are advised to check the official websites only.

If a candidate is caught cheating or any other unfair practices, the NTA can cancel the NEET score of the said candidate. Also, if a student is found to have written any part of the answer apart from the designated booklet provided by the NTA, the scores will be cancelled.
The NTA has not declared the result yet and students are getting frustrated over the delay. Many took to Twitter to vent out their anger. Some said that the NTA had told the Supreme COurt that the NEET result was ready. If that is the case, then why the delay, ask NEET aspirants
The officials say that the NTA will publish the names, scores and percentile of top 50 candidates this year on the official websites.
It should be noted that the NTA's final answer key can't be challenged. The answer key is used to compute the final scores and it remains unchallenged once uploaded on the official website.
