JioPhone Next price makes it 'world's most affordable smartphone'; now, check features

JioPhone Next price has been revealed by Reliance Jio just days ahead of its launch on Diwali and instantly, it has become an eye-ball grabber. Buyers just need to focus on 3 numbers - EMI 300; entry price 1,999; Price: 6,499. It is no rocket science, but unarguably, that translates into the ‘world's most affordable phone', says Reliance. What is more, it is a 'made-for-India' smartphone. The partnership that Reliance Jio inked with Google to get it to supply the OS, just adds to the feelgood factor. JioPhone Next price is 6499 rupees, Its entry price is only 1,999 rupees and the rest can be paid via easy EMI over 18 or 24 months that can be as low as 300 rupees. 

The Pragati OS makes JioPhone Next the first-of-its-kind smartphone to carry this optimised version of Android. It has been tailor-made for the JioPhone Next and has been made specifically keeping the Indian users in mind.

JioPhone Next comes with 'Voice first capabilities' that helps users to operate the device (Open App, manage settings etc) by just speaking to it through Google Assistant.

JioPhone Next 'Read Aloud' functionality lets the user to have content on their screen read out to them. ALl they have to do is sit back and listen in the language of their choice.

JioPhone Next 'Translate Now' functionality enables the user to have any screen translated to the 10 popularly spoken Indian languages.

JioPhone Next packs a smart and powerful camera (phone comes with a 13 MP rear camera and 8 MP front camera.) that supports various modes including portrait mode. It can capture photos with an automatically blurred background too. JioPhone Next Night Mode captures photos under low light conditions. The phone also has India-themed lenses to insert emotions into selfies.
