UPSC Civil Services Prelims Result 2021 announced, check here

NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Friday announced the results of the civil service prelims 2021 exam on its official website.

Candidates, who appeared in the examination on October 10 at various centres across the country, can check their result on the official website – upsc.gov.in. The UPSC Civil Services Prelims Result 2021 is available in the PDF format.

The successful candidates are eligible for the mains examination 2021, that will be conducted from January 7 to January 16, 2022.

The number of vacancies to be filled through the examination is expected to be approximately 712 which include 22 vacancies reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disability.


The number of candidates to be admitted to the Civil Services (Main) Examination is about twelve to thirteen times the total approximate number of vacancies to be filled in the year through this Examination.


Only those candidates who are declared by the Commission to have qualified in the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination are eligible for admission to the Civil Services (Main) Examination provided they are otherwise eligible for admission to the Civil Services (Main) Examination.


The candidates who are declared to have qualified Civil Services (preliminary) Examination will be required to fill the Detailed Application Form-I.
