Squid Game takes over Sydney Harbour: Netflix Australia brings hit South Korean show to Circular Quay for a real-life game of Red Light Green Light - here's how you can play

Australian fans of the Netflix series Squid Game now have the chance to play Red Light Green Light for real after the game was set up in Sydney Harbour overnight.

A giant doll from the hit South Korean series has been erected outside the Overseas Passenger Terminal in time for Halloween on Sunday.

The doll was erected on Friday, October 29, and will be in place until Monday, November 1, and is open to the public.

It's an exact replica of the Red Light Green Light doll that appeared in episode one of the cult series, standing at 4.5 metres tall and weighing three tonnes.

More to come.
