New Bajaj Pulsar F250, N250 Launch in India Highlights: Bajaj Auto had been teasing the upcoming Pulsar 250 and anticipations were high for the most powerful Pulsar yet. Launched today in India, the Pulsar 250 range gets – naked called N250 and a semi-faired named F250. The two motorcycles boast features like LED projector headlamp, USB charging, larger section tyres, ABS, new monoshock, slip & assist clutch and more. The new motorcycles, in fact, are not priced very high compared to the Pulsar 220F and the price gap between the two is merely Rs 2,000.     Expected price and rivals

    The Pulsar 220F is currently on sale in India for a price of Rs 1.32 lakh and the Pulsar 250F is likely to be priced some Rs 10,000 more. That said, the latter might arrive at a price tag of about Rs 1.4 lakh (ex-showroom). The bikes will primarily rival the likes of the KTM 200 Duke, Suzuki Gixxer 250, and Yamaha FZ25.

    Brakes and other equipment

    The Bajaj Pulsar 250 series will most likely use disc brakes at both ends. In addition, the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 250F is expected to get a semi-digital instrument cluster, dual-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), and a gas-charged monoshock at the rear.

    Expected engine and power

    The motorcycle is expected to use a derivative of KTM’s 250cc oil-cooled single-cylinder engine. Expect power figures of about 28 hp and 20 Nm of torque and a six-speed transmission.

    What to expect?

    The new Bajaj Pulsar 250 has been spied on test a number of times and so we have a fair idea about what these motorcycles will look like. The quarter-litre Bajaj Pulsar series will have two motorcycles, a naked streetfighter and a semi-faired one which is likey to be called Pulsar 250F. Both the motorcycles will get an all-LED projector headlamp with LED DRLs, an LED tail lamp, and LED turn indicators. An official teaser video also hints that the Pulsar 250F might get an all-digital instrument cluster, stubby exhaust, and belly pan.
