It's a known fact that a movie by shahrukh khan and atlee has been long brewing. The movie has been on the cards for a while but hasn't gotten underway yet due to various reasons. Meanwhile, samantha who is coming out of a divorce that ended four year marriage is looking to commit as many projects as she can to keep herself busy and motivated.

Being so, if the reports are to be believed samantha is said to have replaced Nayanthara in shahrukh khan - atlee film. The movie that was to be launched got postponed continuously with the latest reason being Shahrukh tied up by aryan Khan case. 

As a result of this, Nayanthara is said to have walked out of the film as she is getting ready for her marriage with Vignesh Shivn. Hence, atlee has approached samantha who interestingly was the first choice before Nayanthara. Samantha has immediately accepted the offer. The major bollywood debut of samantha was to be announced grandly but was shutdown due to shahrukh-aryan drug case. 

However, there has not been any confirmation from samantha or atlee about this big replacement.
