COVID India News LIVE Updates: India all set to roll out Covid vaccination drive for children
India to soon roll out guidelines for Covid-19 vaccination drive for children. The first priority group will be children with comorbidities like cancer, respiratory, neurological, rheumatic, cardiac, liver, gastrointestinal, genitourinary and developmental disorders. This will be the first children's vaccine in India. The Centre has negotiated the pricing of Zydus Cadila's Covid-19 vaccine ZyCoV-D and is set to roll it out in the public immunisation programme within weeks.

SC to pass order in Pegasus snooping row today
The pleas seeking independent probe are related to reports of alleged snooping by government agencies on eminent citizens, politicians and scribes by using Israeli firm NSO's spyware Pegasus.
An international media consortium had reported that over 300 verified Indian mobile phone numbers were on the list of potential targets for surveillance using Pegasus spyware.
The apex court had observed orally that it would set up a technical expert committee to inquire into the matter and pass an interim order on the pleas seeking an independent probe into the grievances of the alleged surveillance of certain eminent Indians by hacking their phones using Israeli firm NSO's spyware, Pegasus.

The Redmond, Washington-based tech company on Tuesday reported quarterly profit of USD 17.2 billion, or USD 2.27 per share, beating Wall Street expectations of USD 2.08 per share.

Microsoft posted revenue of USD 45.3 billion in its fiscal first quarter, up 22 per cent from last year.
Analysts had been looking for revenue of USD 44 billion, according to FactSet Research.

Former Punjab CM Amarinder may launch own party today
Amarinder Singh had last week said that he would soon announce the launch of his own political party to serve the interests of the people, including the farmers who've been fighting for their rights for over a year now.
He is also hopeful of a seat-sharing arrangement with the BJP for next year's Assembly elections in the state, if the farmers' issues are resolved in their interest.
Amarinder Singh had submitted his resignation as Chief Minister on September 18.
