Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Axis Bank(Rs. 1808.42 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 1383.13 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1007.57 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 973.86 crore), IRCTC(Rs. 960.24 crore), Asian Paints(Rs. 885.86 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 734.35 crore), Kotak Bank(Rs. 578.76 crore), SBI(Rs. 574.78 crore) and Canara Bank (Rs. 534.79 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:22AM in Wednesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 41.5 points up at 18309.9, while BSE Sensex was up 112.67 points at 61462.93 as of 11:22AM(IST)on October 27.

In the Nifty index, Asian Paints Ltd.(up 4.71 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 3.73 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 2.69 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 2.44 per cent) and ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 1.94 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Axis Bank Ltd.(down 5.19 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 3.94 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 2.43 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.55 per cent) and Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 1.41 per cent) were among the top losers.
