Bhumi Pednekar Joins Rajkummar Rao For Bheed

Actor Rajkummar Rao and filmmaker Anubhav Sinha are collaborating on a social drama movie titled Bheed, the film was announced recently and now actress Bhumi Pednekar joins the ensemble.

The official handle of T-series dropped the confirmation on the cast. It said, “A groundbreaking social drama deserves the very best. This is why we are so happy to have the ever-so versatile @bhumipednekar join team #Bheed! @RajkummarRao @anubhavsinha #BhushanKumar @BenarasM #AnubhavSinha #RajkummarRao #BhumiPednekar”

Bhumi and Raj will join the filmmaker in Lucknow soon after Diwali to begin shoot of this project, which focuses on a socially relevant topic.
Interestingly, Raj and Bhumi are already working on a movie titled Badhaai Do. A spiritual sequel of Ayushmann’s 2018 film Badhaai Ho, it features Rajkummar as Shardul, who is a policeman, whereas Bhumi will be seen as Sumi, a physical education teacher.

Anubhav Sinha has also lined-up Anek for release, yet another socio-political drama starring Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role.
