Ludhiana witnesses 122 new dengue cases on Wednesday

LUDHIANA: The district on Wednesday witnessed the highest single-day tally of new dengue cases at 122 surpassing its previous day's count of 77.
However, no suspected dengue death was reported from district during the day due to which the district's toll remained at four.
As per a health department’s report, of the new cases, 93 were reported from the city limits while 13 were reported from Jagraon, one from Khanna and 15 from rural areas.
The report suggests that with the addition of new cases, the district's dengue tally has risen to 1,026.
