Depending on how you see it, Constant Contact is following — or mimicking — its clients as Black Friday approaches. The digital marketing platform is fielding a holiday offering, saying “Black Friday is today — get 40% off,” on its web site.
The company is offering that discount for four months for its Email or Email Plus programs, it says. The CTA is a button saying “Buy Now.”
The copy adds, "We're getting a head start on the holidays with our best deals NOW — so you can get a head start on driving holiday sales."
Like many ecommerce sites would, the firm continues: “Not ready to buy yet? Sign up for a free trial to learn how grow your business.”
This feature is free: “No risk. No credit card required,” the company states.
Constant Contact offers customizable templates, sign-up tools and reporting.
Tech Radar first spotted this. Constant Contact had not responded to a request for comment at deadline.
The firm is backed by Clearlake Capital Group, L.P. and Siris Capital, and affiliates.
