Kazakhstan govt to raise fines for poor internet quality

Kazakhstan mobile operators have already paid KZT 92.1 million in fines for delivering low quality internet services since the beginning of this year, reports Profit.kz. They are legally required to deliver a minimum 1 Mbps on 3G and LTE networks, and the speed shouldn't drop below 70 percent of the indicated level on fixed internet tariff plans.
