NAM 11/0 in 2 overs: Davey gets some fine inward movement to van Lingen who is pinned back with the nagging line. Scotland needs a couple of early jolts in the Powerplay to peg Namibia back.

NAM 6/0 in 1 over: A loose delivery onto the pads and Wheal begins by conceding a boundary down the leg-side. A hint of shape to follow and he squares up Williams with a beauty to finish.

Back for the chase. The Saltires in purple have taken the field. Namibia's openers Craig Williams and van Lingen are at the centre.

Namibia's excellent left-arm trio and David Wiese have lightened the work on Gerhard Erasmus' side in its maiden Super 12 game. Trumpelmann, the pick of the stars, rattled the Scots from the first ball as he dismissed three batters for ducks in the first over before Frylinck and Wiese doubled the pressure on Scotland.

SCO 109/8 in 20 overs: Clinical from Wiese. Clinical from Namibia. Just seven runs in the final over and Scotland would rue for its absolutely bizarre first-half.  Namibia is poised to get off the mark in its first-ever Super 12 game!

SCO 102/7 in 19 overs: Frylinck to Watt. OUT! Holes out straight to long-on. He fails to get to the pitch off the ball and mistimes the slog over mid-on. Finds the fielder underneath it and Scotland stumbles towards the finish line.  Mark Watt c Erasmus b Frylinck 3 (6b)

SCO 99/6 in 18 overs: Wiese continues to fox the batters with some excellent change-ups. Just the three runs off the over and Scotland will need a handful of boundaries to make any game out of this one.

SCO 96/6 in 17 overs: Smit to Leask. OUT! Bowled him! Leask shuffles a bit too much to the off-side and ends up paddling the ball back to the stumps. Massive loss for Scotland in the innings progression. Watt joins Greaves as Scotland crawls towards 100.  Michael Leask b Smit 44 (27b 4x4 2x6)

SCO 92/5 in 16 overs: Ya France into the attack. There is an appeal for LBW off the very first ball but the umpire isn't interested. The projected score as of now is 124. Leask gets down on one knee to sweep Ya France to backward square leg for four runs.

SCO 84/5 in 15 overs: Trumpelmann to bowl out. Greaves welcomes him with a boundary. There is an appeal for a run out later in the over, but Leask is pretty quick between the wickets. Trumpelmann finishes with an impressive 4-0-17-3.

SCO 78/5 in 14 overs: Another 10-run over for Scotland. Greaves shifts to his right and makes room for the slog over mid-wicket. Scholtz tosses it up and Greaves finds the boundary with fine execution.

SCO 68/5 in 13 overs: Leask is attempting to up the ante. He smokes Smit with a cracking pull that sails past the deep mid-wicket fence for SIX. Can he sustain this till the end of the innings?

SCO 58/5 in 12 overs: Frylinck to Cross. OUT! Cleaned him up!  Cross steps out of the crease to slam Frylinck over the square. Frylinck deftly slides the ball in straight and the ball clips the inside-edge before smashing into the wickets. Just about when things were seeming to get better, Scotland loses another. Frylinck finds the outside edge off Greaves and this time the keeper puts down a tough chance. Low and fast to Green's diving right and Greaves survives.  Matthew Cross b Frylinck 19 (33b 1x4)

SCO 57/4 in 11 overs: Fifty up for Scotland. Leask finally switches gears as van Lingen offers a couple of juicy deliveries in the slot. Leask pummels one down the ground for FOUR and swings his arms through the arc to parry to the ball over long-on for SIX.

SCO 43/4 in 10 overs: Namibia has let nothing slip away from its grasp tonight. Frylinck continues to attack the stumps and the batters fail to create room to aim for the big shots.

SCO 39/4 in 9 overs: Wiese continues to trouble the batters with that sharp delivery that seams in. He tucks one in sharply to hit Cross flush on the pads, but the ball just a little too much as it zips down the leg-stump.

SCO 32/4 in 8 overs: Scholtz flattens his deliveries to the batters. Cross and Leask continue to pierce the gaps and find the singles. A heavy recovery job on their shoulders.

SCO 26/4 in 7 overs: Smit mixes up his pace as he takes the ball from the batters. Cross and Leask remain iffy but rotate strike with a couple of singles.

SCO 22/4 in 6 overs: Wiese to Wallace. OUT! The in-decker thuds the pads and there goes another. Scotland in absolute shambles as the umpire raises the finger almost instantly.  Excellent delivery from Wiese as he pins the batter with a beauty. SCO 16/3 in 5 overs: Trumpelmann gets the outside-edge off Cross and the ball trickles down to the fence for FOUR. Cross plays the best shot of the evening so far as he aces the square drive to perfection but fails to find the boundary this time.

SCO 8/3 in 4 overs: The Scots have now clue how to get off this left-arm menace. Smit gets some shape as well into the batters who just about bring the bat down to wade off the ball off the last second.

JJ Smit replaces Frylinck

SCO 6/3 in 3 overs: Trumpelmann continues to bowl in a fine channel around the batters' feet. He finds the shape once again into the right-hander and follows up with a surprise bumper that skids away. Top stuff here from Namibia.

SCO 4/3 in 2 overs: Some incisive bowling from either end. Frylinck nearly steams through Wallace's defences for another wicket but he survives by a whisker. He sets off on a risky single as the ball hits the non-striker's end and makes it just in time! Absolutely streaky stuff from the Saltires.

SCO 2/3 in 1 over: Trumpelmann to Munsey. OUT! What a start for Namibia! Munsey's on his way first ball! Full outside the off-stump and Munsey's attempted cut gets an inside-edge back to the stumps. Some jolt this for the Scots first up. MacLeod on strike. Trumpelmann strays down the leg for a couple of wides. He takes the ball swiftly from over the wicket and edged! MacLeod falls for a duck as well. The Namibians are on a roll! Skipper Berrington on strike.  Swinging in and thuds the pads, no, no.. is there another? Loud shot and given! Three ducks in the over and Trumpelmann is on fire! This one swings in from the length sharply and straightens just that much to clip the leg-stump.  Craig Wallace, the no.5 is in in the first over! Trumpelmann pumps it onto the body and Wallace keeps them out, barely!

6:50PM IST: Big day for Namibian cricket, and they'll have five of them coming up over the next 10 days. Scotland's debut in the Super 12s, however, wasn't as memorable as it'd have loved it to be - suffering a heavy drubbing from Afghanistan. We have the Toss coming up in 10 minutes.

After two stunning wins, debutant Namibia will look to continue its fairytale run when it takes on a bruised Scotland in the ICC T20 World Cup here on Wednesday.

Gerhard Erasmus and his bunch of unknown cricketers beat Netherlands by six wickets and then beat Ireland to grab a spot in the Super 12s. It was a historic moment for a country with a population of 2.5 million which doesn’t boast of any cricketing legacy. The win over Ireland was its first against a Test playing nation and it also guaranteed Namibia a spot in next year’s T20 World Cup.

Having earned its right to rub shoulders with cricket’s elites, Namibia will now be keen to test its skills against the best in the business. It will fancy a win over Scotland before it takes on heavyweights in Afghanistan, India, Pakistan and New Zealand.

Scotland posted three successive wins in the first round before going down to Afghanistan by 130 runs. Kyle Coetzer’s men were skittled out for a paltry 60 in 10.2 overs while chasing a challenging 191 and they will need to quickly recover from the defeat to avoid any such hiccups against a team brimming with confidence.

Namibia has produced some solid batting displays as it scripted two successive chases in its last two matches.

The duo of skipper Erasmus and all-rounder David Wiese scored bulk of the runs as it overhauled targets of 164 and 125 with plenty of balls to spare in the last two games. Wiese also starred with the ball, taking three wickets with his medium pace, while left-arm pacer Jan Frylinck took five wickets to help restrict its opponents to modest scores.

For Scotland, the batting trio of Richie Berrington, George Munsey and Matthew Cross have produced the goods in the qualifying matches. The batting line-up appeared clueless against Afghanistan’s spinners and the batters will hope to give a better account of themselves on Wednesday

Josh Davey has been Scotland’s most successful bowler, with nine wickets so far from four matches, while Safyaan Sharif, Mark Watt and Brad Wheal, too, have contributed. The team will look up to them to keep the opposition in check.
