Imphal, October 26 2021: BJP national executive member and Mahila Morcha Manipur Pradesh National in-charge Sumitra Lalu arrived here in Tuesday for a five-day visit.

Members of Mahila Morcha led by its president L Loteeka Leima welcomed Sumitra at Tulihal Airport.

Speaking to media persons, Sumitra Lalu confided that the main objective of her visit is to strengthen Mahila Morcha in connection with the upcoming election.

BJP has always been trying to empower women, as such BJP Manipur Pradesh president is a woman, she reasoned.

Sumitra stressed that the aim of BJP is to keep woman at higher level.

Mention may be made here that during her stay in the state, Sumitra Lalu will attend election related meetings in several places and plan strategies for the upcoming election.
