Slimmed-down Rebel Wilson admits she would be willing to put the weight back on for a movie role - but only if she'd be guaranteed an Oscar
Rebel Wilson has shed a staggering 35kg (77lbs, or 5.5st) since embarking on her 'Year of Health' at the beginning of 2020.
But the Hollywood star, 41, has now revealed she could be tempted to put the weight back on for a film role - but only if it guaranteed her an Oscar nomination.
During an interview on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Thursday, radio host Jackie 'O' Henderson posed the question: 'Would you ever consider putting back on the weight for a movie role?'

Dedicated to her craft: Rebel Wilson, who has lost a staggering 35kg since early 2020, has revealed she could be tempted to put the weight back on for a film role - but only if it guaranteed her an Oscar nomination
'Jackie, that is a good question,' Rebel responded. 'I had to work my a**e off...'
'What about if it was that role that you knew was directed my Martin Scorsese and starring Leonardo DiCaprio. Would you then go, f**k it, I'll do it?' Jackie asked again.
'I probably would if there was an Oscar chance, because I know now I would lose it,' Rebel said. 'I probably would. But I don't know if I would go dangerously unhealthy.'
Co-host Kyle Sandilands then praised Rebel for her mindset, saying he has 'been a big guy my whole life' and doesn't think he'll ever be able to lose the weight.

Rebel told him: 'I don't know, Kyle. I was similar to you - sometimes I would work really hard and lose five kilos and then gain it back and think, "Oh, what's the point?"
'The trick is with me - I am an emotional eater, so I just started dealing with that, and that was the trick for me.'
The Isn't It Romantic star proudly announced last November she had reached her goal weight of 75kg (165lbs or 11.8 stone).

'Hit my goal with one month to spare! Even though it's not about a weight number, it's about being healthy, I needed a tangible measurement to have as a goal and that was 75 kilograms,' she wrote on Instagram.
According to People magazine, Rebel's remarkable transformation is partially down to following the Mayr Method diet plan.
A source said she had 'amazing results' by changing her eating habits while staying at an Austrian health and wellness retreat, and has continued to follow the plan.
'It's an approach that eliminates food intolerances, reduces sugar, encourages eating whole foods slowly, boosts the immune system and reduces inflammation,' a source said.
'She exercises with a personal trainer up to six times a week, goes on walks and is trying to up her protein intake nutritionally.'
