Narcotics Control Bureau and their zonal director Sameer Wankhede is in the headlines ever since they busted the Mumbai cruise ship. In the drug bust, superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son was held as he was present at the party. However, it has not been proved yet that whether he was consuming drugs or not.
Soon after, the demands for an FIR against NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede started growing. And, now in the latest development, a Mumbai based advocate registered a complaint with Mumbai police seeking registration of an FIR against Sameer Wankhede, Shah Rukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani, witnesses Manish Bhanushali, Kiran Gosavi, Sam and Manish Bhanushali under extortion charges under the Indian Penal Code.
Advocate Sudha Dwivedi sought registration of FIR after witness Prabhakar Sail allegedly said on Sunday that Rs 25 crore had been demanded on behalf of Sameer Wankhede for the release of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan.
What was mentioned in Sudha Dwivedi’s complaint?
It was a seven-page complaint in which it was mentioned that one bad fish can spoil the whole pond, and as the NCB officials are involved in this issue, they had a job to serve the public interest as per the statutory provisions of law. It was also mentioned that these officials are not working for the people but are doing it in their own interest.
The complaint mentioned that the FIR should be registered against the offences that comes under the provision of sections 384 (punishment for extortion), 388 (extortion by threat of accusation of an offence punishable with death or imprisonment for life), 389 (putting a person in fear of accusation of offence, in order to commit extortion) and 120(B) (punishment for criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, along with provisions of section 13 of the Prevention of Corruption Act and other relevant provisions of law.
